They have all of the typical Flea Market fare (produce, antiques, souvenirs, collectibles, electronics, clothing, and food) as well as a variety of fun events throughout the year including a Chili Cook-off a Home & Garden Show, vehicle swap meets, bikers’ events, and various festivals. The Market of Marion is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with hours on Thursday during the winter months. Parking is free so so there is no reason not to come. It is very easy to reach the Market of Marion from our hotel. Just follow 135th street (484) East until you come to HWY 441. Then take a left and go one mile. The Market of Marion will be just on your left.
Another nearby flea and farmer’s market is the I-75 Super Flea Market (15 miles North of our hotel on I-75). The I-75 Super Flea Market is easy to find and offers some of the most enticing shopping in Marion County. With over 13,000 shoppers each weekend, the flea market is outgrowing its current facility and is expanding to include room for over 1,000 new covered vendor spaces as well as additional parking. You can find great bargains at this flea market including clothing, produce, antiques, furniture, electronics and so much more. Additionally, the flea market has an air conditioned restaurant that serves up some great snacks to keep you full while perusing all the great deals. The I-75 Super Flea Market is open from 9am-2pm on Fridays and from 9am-4pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
