Established in 1951, and officially opened for operations in 1952, the Bubba Raceway Park is the oldest track in the state of Florida, marking its 58th anniversary this year. With its 3/8 of a mile, clay track it is the perfect location for a variety of racing events. The Raceway hosts a variety of race classes including: Late Model, Open Wheel Modified, Hobby Stock, Mini Stock, V-8 Thunderstock and Gladiators.
Racing series from around the state and the nation are also held at the Ocala Speedway. Series such as the Florida Sprint Car Association, the Dirtcar Pro Modifieds and the Summer Jam Monster Truck Series are all hosted regularly at the track.
